Dacia Spring Prices Increase Again

Between the new prices and those announced at the launch of the Dacia Spring, there will be nearly €4,000 difference.

Inflation is a topic that also concerns the automotive industry. The prices of new cars have been continuously increasing for some time. The phenomenon does not spare Dacia, which has repeatedly raised the prices of its Spring.

In November, the price of the electric city car will increase again. By €1,000 for the base Essential version, and by €800 for the Spring Expression. With this new increase, the Dacia Spring will cross the €20,000 threshold for the basic finish. It will be sold very exactly at €20,800. The Spring Expression, meanwhile, will be available starting at €22,100.

A slight increase somewhat offset by a higher bonus

The evolution of prices is accompanied by a small increase in the bonus, capped at €6,000 and 27% of the car’s price. It will reach €5,616 for the Essential and €5,967 for the Expression, compared to €5,346 and €5,751 respectively under current conditions. However, caution is advised, as this aid may no longer be offered to Spring customers in a few months. Europe is indeed considering discontinuing bonuses for cars manufactured in China. And that is precisely where the Renault group assembles its Spring.

Despite everything, the Spring remains the most affordable electric car on the market. The new TC 03 from Chinese manufacturer Leapmotor also offers competitive prices, but at €25,990 without bonus, it cannot compete with Dacia in this domain. However, it is more versatile than its rival, thanks to a more efficient motor/battery combination (109 and 41 kWh vs 44 hp and 27.4 kWh for the Spring).
