The Jeep Avenger, the most European of the American brands, has just unveiled its prices. They start from €36,500 before incentives.

Cousin of the restyled DS3 equipped with its new engine and battery, the Jeep Avenger electric is finally ready to arrive on the French market. As a reminder, it is the first 100% electric model from the American manufacturer, now part of Stellantis Group.

The Jeep Avenger is built on the now-famous CMP technical platform, shared with the DS 3, Opel Mokka-e, and Peugeot e-2008. Its unique feature compared to these is the optional all-wheel drive, allowing it to venture off-road. According to Jeep, its ground clearance higher than that of the Renegade 4xe enables it to perform better in this area than its bigger sibling.

Cutting-edge motor

Under the hood, a 156 hp electric motor and a 51 kWh battery, theoretically allowing it to reach 404 km according to WLTP standards. We plan to verify this in a future test on Mobiwisy. In the meantime, let’s review the various versions available:

  • Avenger (16″ alloy wheels, automatic climate control, 7″ digital instrument cluster and 10″ multimedia screen, LED headlights, 6 driving modes Select Terrain, hill descent assist…) priced at €36,500.
  • Longitude (17″ alloy wheels…) priced at €38,000.
  • Altitude (17″ alloy wheels, 10.25″ digital instrument cluster, electric tailgate with hands-free function, adaptive cruise control…) priced at €40,000.
  • Summit (18″ alloy wheels, bi-tone bodywork, 360° parking sensors, 180° rearview camera…) priced at €42,500.

For information, the DS 3 E-TENSE starts in France from €41,700.

Is the 1st Edition version on hold?

As we write these lines, only the 1st Edition version can be configured online for a very short period. As a reminder, its equipment includes wireless charging, 11 kW charging, rear USB-C ports, heated front seats… Priced at €39,500.

All versions include a €5,000 bonus.

It is also worth noting that a long-term rental offer is available. It concerns the entry-level Avenger and involves a 24-month leasing with a maximum of 20,000 km, costing €199 per month after a €4,000 deposit, after deducting the €5,000 bonus (up to €7,000 for low-income drivers) and subject to eligibility for the €2,500 trade-in bonus. This offer is valid until February 1, 2023.
