Is the Jeep Avenger on the road to success?
This page is translated from the original post "Le Jeep Avenger sur la voie du succès ?" in French.

The first months of the Jeep Avenger are quite promising from a commercial standpoint. The production of the electric SUV has just started in Poland.
As the brand’s first electric vehicle, the Avenger has also become the first Jeep to earn the prestigious Car of the Year award. With its 4.08 meters in length, it competes in the Peugeot e-2008 segment, with which it shares its platform. The absence of thermal engines on most markets may eventually pose a challenge, but for now, the Avenger is doing very well without it.
Jeep claims to have received around 10,000 pre-orders in Europe since December. This is encouraging, but still needs to be confirmed over time. Indeed, there are many examples of models that initially generated excitement but eventually faded into obscurity.
The new Jeep Avenger manufactured in Poland
The production of the Avenger has just begun. It takes place at Stellantis’ Tychy plant in Poland. The Avenger is also the first Jeep assembled in this country. In Tychy, it coexists with the Fiat 500 and the Lancia Ypsilon, which is still marketed in Italy.
Technically, the Jeep Avenger does not offer any surprises. It indeed uses a platform and a motor/battery set that are already widespread within the Stellantis group. The “American” electric SUV (which isn’t only American) offers a power of 156 hp and promises a range of 400 km (WLTP mixed cycle). In France, prices start at €36,500 and go up to €42,500 for the top-of-the-line trim, which remains eligible for the €5,000 eco bonus. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2023.
