The Audi Q6 e-tron Debuts at the End of 2023
This large family SUV, as its name suggests, will slot between the Q4 e-tron and the Q8 e-tron. So, a third SUV and a third platform in action. While the two cousins share the small MEB platform (Q4) or the MLB platform (Q8), the Audi Q6 e-tron will have the honor of inaugurating the new PPE platform dedicated to high-end electric vehicles from the Volkswagen Group. Unlike the other two, it will be capable of using an 800-volt system for ultra-fast charging.

In the past, Audi had already hinted that it would offer an entry-level all-electric model. CEO Markus Duesmann confirms this in addition to the Q6 e-tron. “By 2027, we hope to offer a 100% electric vehicle in all major segments” states the CEO, “we have also recently decided to launch an additional entry-level model under the Audi Q4 e-tron.” It remains to be seen what form this compact model will take: an A3 e-tron sedan or a conventional Q3 e-tron SUV?
