Highly anticipated, the restyled Peugeot e-2008 is beginning to reveal its headlights. In addition to aesthetic updates, this version will feature the all-new 156 hp electric motor.
Launched in 2020, the Peugeot e-2008 is among the most consistent 100% electric city SUVs on the market in terms of comfort, handling, and value for equipment. For the restyled version, officially revealed on May 4, 2023, Peugeot will equip it with the all-new 156 hp electric motor, which we have already tested in the revamped DS 3 E-Tense (read our review of the renewed DS 3 E-Tense).
Thanks to its new 51 kWh useful battery and improved mechanical efficiency, the range is expected to increase by approximately 80 km in real-world conditions. Note that the gasoline 1.2 Puretech engines will gain light hybridization with 48V technology and an electrified transmission… To reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
A redesigned style and new features
Otherwise, the restyled Peugeot e-2008 will see its front end redesigned, similar to the work of designers on the 508, with new vertical LED headlights, a new grille, and a more dynamic bumper. The interior will highlight the new multimedia system, as well as an unprecedented selection of materials inside, while the equipment list will be enriched with new driver aids (adaptive cruise control, rear traffic alert, etc.).
