YouGov Barometer: Is Peugeot the French people’s favorite brand?

The YouGov poll ranked Peugeot at the top of its annual car brand rankings “YouGov Global Car Brand Rankings”.

YouGov, a survey and market research organization, published its annual report on car brands, “YouGov Global Car Brand Rankings.” Peugeot leads this ranking in France, ahead of Mercedes-Benz and Audi.

This ranking is based on the BrandIndex developed by YouGov for each brand in the list. It takes into account indicators such as overall impression, quality, value for money, reputation/employer brand, satisfaction, and recommendation.

Thus, the lion brand dominates its national market in terms of customer satisfaction, and ranks second in light vehicle registrations (private cars + light commercial vehicles) behind its rival Renault for March 2023.

Peugeot’s Electric Transition, a Source of Revenue

You’ve probably already seen it in person, with its Vertigo Blue color and headlights reminiscent of lion claws. The Peugeot e-208 is the favorite car of the French. Well, that’s what advertising campaigns on television claim. Peugeot also offers attractive financing options (Customized Lease Peugeot) on its flagship 100% electric model.

Alongside the successful city car e-208, the Lion brand released its e-2008 model in 2020. Comfortable and spacious, it has a range of 270 km measured in mixed cycle. The vehicle will be restyled with technological improvements (driver assistance, multimedia system) scheduled for May 4. To date, Peugeot 2008 II has registered 13,109 units from early January 2023 to the end of March 2023 (according to AAA Data).

Peugeot is also planning to promote a new version of its 308 sedan. It will be released mid-2023 and will be a 100% electric vehicle. Notable features include its announced 400 km range and the inclusion of the i-Cockpit infotainment system, just like in the e-2008.

Clearly, electric vehicles at Peugeot are electrifying!
