A new Audi charging center

The four-ring brand has opened its first rapid charging center in Austria on June 15.

This is the fourth rapid charging center of the German firm, after Berlin, Nuremberg, and Zurich.

The Audi Charging Hub has four charging points, two fewer than the Nuremberg location. The charging points have a power of 320kW, even when all four are in use simultaneously. The center is open all week, at all hours of the day.

An accessible center for everyone

The charging center in Austria is suitable for all users. People in wheelchairs can access it to charge their electric Audi. It features Plug & Charge functionality. This tool allows the charging station and the vehicle to be connected. This enables payment information to be exchanged without contact between the payment terminal and the customer. To pay for your charging session, you can use Google Pay and Apple Pay.

The center is accessible to users who own an electric vehicle with a CCS (Combined Charging System) port. It is possible to charge a non-Audi vehicle at the charging center. However, Audi customers will obviously have an advantage. They can reserve a slot in advance.

The first functional recharging stations

As mentioned above, this is the fourth charging center of the four-ring brand. In Nuremberg, which has six charging stations, there is a 70% return rate, with an average of 36 recharges per day.
