Lifting: The Peugeot E-208 Unleashes Its Fierce New Look!
This page is translated from the original post "Lifting : la Peugeot E-208 sort les griffes !" in French.

The best-selling electric model in France and Europe, the Peugeot E-208 features a much more aggressive new front end.
It could be mistaken for a look borrowed from competition Hypercars, like the 9X8. With its daytime running lights featuring the famous three vertical claws, the Peugeot 208 – both combustion and electric – benefits from a very modern and aggressive facelift that suits it very well. The same goes for the rear, with horizontal strip-shaped lights that give a sense of greater width to the vehicle.

This new lighting signature is complemented by a slight technical and technological update, such as the fully digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch screen, new wheels and vibrant colors, like the Agueda yellow showcased here.
The powertrain of the 100% electric version will adopt the reference from Stellantis’ catalog, namely a 115 kW (156 horsepower) motor paired with a 51 kWh battery (guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 km). The WLTP combined cycle range would reach 400 km (pending homologation), a very satisfactory value for a daily driver. The standard onboard charger will be 7.4 kW, while an 11 kW charger will be available as an option. At fast-charging stations, the E-208 will accept up to 100 kW.

This mechanics is already used by the Peugeot E-2008, Citroën ë-C4, Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600e, etc. For those averse to electric vehicles, two mild hybrid engines will also be offered: 100 and 136 hp, with the option of a dual-clutch transmission. Lastly, but beware of the penalty fee, two pure petrol engines will be retained: 75 and 100 hp.
The launch of this new Peugeot E-208 will take place in November 2023, and prices have not yet been announced.
