BMW Motorrad announces its new 100% electric two-wheeler, the BMW CE 02, two years after the BMW CE 04. 

Two years later, BMW makes its return to the electric two-wheelers market. The German company offers a brand new fully electric vehicle, an ideal model for urban areas. 

Driving from age 14

Two models are available for the launch of BMW Motorrad’s new 100% electric two-wheeler. A first version with a maximum power of 11 kW (15 hp). The motor allows reaching a top speed of 95 km/h and has a range of up to 90 km. It can be driven from age 16. 

The second model is the “AM” version with 4 kW (5 hp). It can go up to 45 km/h, perfect for city mobility. For this version, young people aged 14 can be behind the handlebars.  

The weight of the “eParkoureur” varies between 119 kg for the 4 kW version and 132 kg for the 11 kW version. 

Additional connectivity features 

The “eParkoureur” is equipped with a 3.5-inch TFT screen, which provides information on speed, battery status, and displays other data. A USB-C charging port allows you to charge your phone. Thanks to the BMW Motorrad Connected app, the end time of charging can be displayed via Bluetooth connection. 

Two different prices 

The BMW CE 02 is offered in France at a price of €7,750 including VAT, for the “AM” version. The starting price for the second model is €8,750 including VAT. An optional package called “Highline Pack” is available for €890. It includes a 1,500 W fast charger, unavailable for the “AM” version, Cosmic Black 2 color with specific stickers, Bluetooth control interface, “Flash” riding mode, heated grips, Pro saddle, smartphone holder, and tele-services. 

The eco bonus can help you save money when purchasing the vehicle. Savings can reach up to 27% of the gross acquisition cost of the vehicle, including the cost of the battery if rented, or a maximum amount of 900 euros.
