Le premier exemplaire du Cybertruck

In a Twitter post published this weekend, American manufacturer Tesla announced the production of the first Cybertruck.

We weren’t expecting it anymore, yet it is finally here! The Cybertruck is not just a dream, but a reality. It rolled out from its hideout at the Texas Gigafactory this weekend, four years after its announcement and a long anticipation.

Is there more information?

Unfortunately, the American company has not provided further details about the specifications of its new vehicle. Only an image published in a Twitter post on July 15th, on the brand’s account.

Still, you can glimpse a symbol made by many artisans, including a sign of an angle, like the man in the front row. Is it a reference to the vehicle’s roof or something else? No definitive statement can be made.

Aiming for 350,000 units per year

A few weeks ago, media outlet Electreck announced that the company aims to produce 375,000 Cybertrucks annually. An increase of 50%, compared to the 250,000 units initially projected by the company’s CEO, Elon Musk. As a reminder, the Cybertruck received over 1.5 million pre-orders in total, an impressive number.

Regarding the vehicle’s price, it has not yet been announced by the brand. All specifications will be revealed during the presentation event. This event is expected to take place before fall 2023, as the brand has committed to delivering the first vehicles in September 2023, which could be a challenge.
