Tesla: Up to 16% Discount on the Model Y

During this month of July, many deals took place on the Tesla website, including price reductions on the Model 3, as well as thousands of kilometers of free supercharging with the purchase of a Tesla Model 3. Today, it is neither a free supercharging offer nor a discount on a Model 3, but rather a rebate on the Model Y, the best-selling electric vehicle in Europe.

A Tesla Model Y for less than 38,500 euros!

No, you’re not dreaming, nor do you need to pinch yourself. Tesla is slashing its prices, and worth noting, there’s a 16% reduction on the purchase price of the Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive. Its starting price is 45,990 euros, which means previously this model was eligible for a 5,000 euro eco-bonus. Today, with the price decrease, the vehicle costs 38,230 euros. The price drop is 2,760 euros, after applying the 5,000 euro eco-bonus.

Is the Lease-to-Own offer advantageous?

There’s no suspense here — the answer is a big no. Let’s take the example of a 60-month lease. For that, you’ll need a minimum down payment of 5,000 euros, though we’ve selected an initial deposit of 10,250 euros. You will need to pay a monthly rent of 321.35 euros for 60 months. Over this period, you will spend 19,281 euros on rent, plus the 10,250 euros initial deposit, totaling 29,531 euros. However, if you want to keep the vehicle, you’ll need to buy it, which will cost you about 21,183 euros, according to the manufacturer.
