965 km of range for this new electric car

We know more about the powertrain of Fisker’s Ronin, unveiled on August 3rd, the ultra-sporty sedan is expected to have a range of 965 km.  

On August 3rd, Fisker revealed numerous vehicles set to expand the American company’s electric car lineup. During the live announcement, the brand announced the release of the Alaska pickup, the Pear, but most notably the new electric sedan, the Ronin. This car may soon compete with Tesla’s roadster in the coming months.

Its characteristics 

Last week, Fisker live-presented its brand new electric cars. Among them, the Ronin, with some details revealed such as 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds. Today, we know more; its top speed should approach 275 km/h, with 0 to 100 km/h in under two seconds. Most notably, its range blows us away: 965 km. Many manufacturers want to sell a car with such a range, but few succeed. To give you an idea, the range allows you to drive from Brest to Lyon without recharging the vehicle.

Butterfly doors will equip the rear doors of the vehicle. The front doors will open with your mobile phone with a simple touch. A 17.1-inch screen will be integrated into a dashboard in front of the driver.

A price not for everyone 

A noteworthy reminder about the vehicle’s name: “it’s a homage to the John Frankenheimer film of the same name,” the press release states. 375,000 USD, or about 342,000 euros, is the price of the high-performance car. On August 3rd, customers had to pay a first deposit of 2,000 USD. Fisker announces that only 999 units of this vehicle will be produced. The first models are expected to be delivered in early Q2 2025.
