Lamborghini has officially unveiled its vision of a two-door SUV powered by an electric drivetrain. A revolution.

Since its acquisition by Audi in the early 2000s, Lamborghini has become a pragmatic manufacturer. And it has proven itself right. Moving from a limited, artisanal, and romantically reliable production, the Sant’Agata Bolognese firm (between Modena and Bologna) has become a global benchmark in the world of supercars suitable for daily use. Even more so since launching its first SUV, the Urus, which has definitely saved the brand. Why? Because it embraced the idea that one must live with their era, providing customers with what they want. The trend now is for super-powered 4x4s? Andiamo! Porsche pioneered this 15 years earlier with its Cayenne. Since then, Ferrari has also fallen into the trap, as have Lotus with electric, Aston Martin, Bentley, Maserati, and others.

Now that Lamborghini is presenting a stunning concept revealing its “vision” of the future, we should not be naïve: this future is a near one. 2028, the time to perfect development, manufacturing methods, and delivery. The Italian manufacturer embraces its era, which is clear and widely praised. And so, this four-seat coupe SUV will be “purely electric” to avoid being anachronistic.

The design is superb, relevant, immediately recognizable, and very well-executed to once again give the impression that it does not 90% resemble the final model. Lamborghini is doing well, and that’s fantastic news.
