MG expands its offer to 99 euros per month for the MG5!

Not only is MG extending its social leasing offer until the end of the year, but now the MG5 is also available via long-term rental (LLD) starting at €99/month.

The car for less than €100 per month offer, as promised in its program during its presidential campaign by Emmanuel Macron, is already a reality. Dacia and MG have already entered the market and are not shy about highlighting it with catchy slogans like “Mr. President, we keep our promises” or “Some make promises, others keep them“.

The Sino-British manufacturer MG now offers its social leasing on two 100% electric models: the compact sedan MG4 and the family station wagon MG5. This offer meets the needs of families looking to transition to more sustainable mobility, without being tied down by a loan.

Of course, this 24-month long-term rental (LLD) offer isn’t available to all French clients, but only to those with low income meeting certain conditions: being a natural person whose tax reference income per share is less than or equal to €14,089. You will also need to be able to trade in an eligible old vehicle for the conversion bonus of €2,500 (diesel registered before January 1, 2011, or gasoline registered before January 1, 2006).

MG4 Standard, excluding options, at a catalog price of €29,990 including VAT, or MG5 Comfort 50 kWh, excluding options, at a catalog price of €32,990 including VAT, reduced to €28,490 including VAT.

• First installment of €9,500 reduced to €0 after a deduction of €7,000 ecological bonus (subject to income conditions – tax reference income per share of €14,089)

If you wish to keep your vehicle longer, MG also offers this social leasing deal for 48 months at €149/month. You might ask, why pay more to drive an older car? MG simply anticipates a future change in the ecological bonus that could remove these generous benefits for MG4 and MG5 as of January 1, 2024! However, it’s highly likely that such offers will continue to multiply, especially among European manufacturers who have not yet fully entered the game and are waiting for government decisions to launch their offers in early 2024.
