Bus and Cyclists, for “Better Coexistence on the Road”
This page is translated from the original post "Bus et Cyclistes, pour “Mieux circuler ensemble”" in French.

Wednesday, September 27th, the RATP invites cyclists to the famous Place du Panthéon to raise awareness about coexistence between buses and bicycles.
This initiative aligns fully with what the RATP defines as its purpose: “committing every day to a better quality of city life.”
The event is organized in partnership with two major cycling associations, namely Mieux se Déplacer à Bicyclette (MDB) and Cycl’Avenir.

There will be workshops for everyone:
- Raising awareness among cyclists about bus drivers’ visibility constraints (blind spots, blind side)
- Prevention of cyclist overtaking distance violations
- Prevention of door opening risks
- Awareness courses on group cycling
- Riding cargo bikes
Many surprises are planned for those who will meet RATP bus agents during this day.
