Ultra-luxury in motion according to Lexus

Lexus unveils in Europe the LM or “Luxury Mover,” their first luxury minivan, available in 4 to 7 seats.

The Lexus LM is a brand new type of vehicle that Europe is not yet accustomed to. A “Luxury Mover” that offers the ultimate luxury of a limousine with the spacious interior of a large minivan. Its design and features elevate Lexus’s Omotenashi hospitality principles to the highest level, with extreme attention to detail in comfort, well-being, and convenience.

First Class

This model embodies the philosophy of Lexus’s premium brand of Toyota Group’s Omotenashi hospitality to an unprecedented level, offering “business class” style seats, a 48-inch giant screen, a custom Mark Levinson 3D Surround Sound system with 21 speakers, a refrigerator, and more.

Two versions are available: a four-seat model, with two large multifunction rear seats that offer the best in luxury, and a seven-seat model designed for VIP transport. The latter has two rows of rear seats, with a third row offering three seats to accommodate up to seven passengers.

A Lexus passenger-focused concept

The Omotenashi hospitality concept aims to make vehicle users feel as welcomed as guests in your home. This includes simplifying interaction with onboard technologies. For example, a single control per passenger allows adjusting the climate control, lighting, and seats according to personal preferences. By “customizing luxury,” Lexus values the time spent traveling.

We call it a minivan, but everything is relative. The total length of the LM is 5,125 mm, with a width of 1,890 mm and a height of 1,940 mm (with 19-inch wheels). The generous width and height, along with the long 3,000 mm wheelbase, are essential to optimize space for rear passengers.

The LM 350h is powered by Lexus’s self-charging hybrid 2.5-liter engine identical to that of the NX 350h. The maximum motor power is 250 hp / 184 kW with a maximum torque of 239 Nm. CO₂ emissions are limited to 167 g/km (WLTP combined cycle). The LM accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds.

The Lexus LM 350h comes standard with the electronic all-wheel drive system E-Four. This system can distribute torque between front and rear from 100/0 to 20/80 to ensure optimal traction on soft or slippery surfaces.

Luxury comes at a price

The LM is finally equipped with the latest generation of active safety and driving assistance systems Lexus Safety System +, also featured on recent NX, RX, and RZ models. These systems can detect an even wider range of accident risks and provide alerts as well as assistance with steering, braking, and acceleration when needed, to avoid or mitigate impacts.

The LM is offered in France at a price of €123,700 for the 7-seat version, or €147,700 for the 4-seat version. Deliveries are expected to begin in mid-fall.
