The Škoda Enyaq gains (a lot of) power and (little) range

The large electric SUV Skoda Enyaq receives a mid-life refresh with improvements in power and range.

The trend is toward evolution within the Volkswagen group. After the Audi Q4 and Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5, it’s now the turn of the Skoda Enyaq to see its performance improve. No jealousy! In summary, power jumps, charging becomes faster (from 135 to 175 kW), and equipment is modernized.

While the 60 version (medium battery) is only slightly affected by these changes, the larger battery versions are not. Thus, the 80 version becomes Enyaq 85, and the all-wheel-drive 80x variant is renamed 85x.

The Enyaq 60 gains 5 extra kilometers of range (400 km in WLTP cycle), and its power remains unchanged at 180 hp. Conversely, the 85 models see their power increase by 82 horsepower to reach 286 hp. Exactly the same figures as their Audi and Volkswagen cousins… Same for the battery size, with a net capacity of 77 kWh. The increase in range is modest: +25 km in the best-case scenario.

In terms of performance, it’s also great news: a 1.8-second improvement on the 0 to 100 km/h sprint (6.7 seconds) and the top speed (less relevant) increases by 20 km/h (to 180 km/h).

This is complemented by the vRS version, which was already updated a few days ago.

In terms of equipment, there are no revolutions, just slightly revised packages to benefit the customer more.
