Bugatti and Adidas have joined forces to create a limited edition football shoe: the Adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti.

Thinking of wearing Bugatti cleats to make a splash during your Saturday game with friends? No need to rush to your Adidas retailer or force entry into one of the very rare Bugatti concessions. Produced in only 99 pairs, these shoes will be auctioned and are unlikely to go unnoticed by the most avid and wealthy owners and collectors of the brand. Needless to say, they have as much chance of ever appearing on a football field as you do of driving a Chiron!

Designed based on the lace-up model X Crazyfast, the new exclusive collection features several unique details referencing Bugatti. While the heart of the Chiron is its exceptional W16 engine, the main feature of the X Crazyfast is its outsole, which incorporates Adidas’s innovative Speedframe technology. The carbon fiber embedded in the shoe mimics that used in Bugatti hypercars, while the semi-transparent monomesh upper of the X Crazyfast has been adapted from the original design to include the very distinctive Bugatti blue.

On the side of the shoe, two phrases represent the values of both companies: “Impossible is nothing” symbolizing Adidas’ pursuit of performance, and “Create the Incomparable” representing Bugatti’s commitment to producing vehicles that constantly push boundaries.

The shoes from the X Crazyfast Bugatti collection come in a unique box featuring an exterior design inspired by carbon fiber weaving. The timeless initials of Ettore Bugatti are, of course, found on the back part of the shoe.

To give Adidas and Bugatti enthusiasts worldwide an equal chance to acquire one of the 99 pairs in the collection, the shoes will be auctioned through the adidas Collect Web 3 platform. The sale will run from November 8 to 11, 2023. After this date, all winners will receive an exclusive digital shoe box, which from November 13 can be exchanged via adidas Collect for the physical pair ordered and its digital twin. Although the auctions are conducted in cryptocurrency using MoonPay, users can also use more traditional currency to bid.
