Renault and R-FIT have partnered to offer a 100% electric retrofit kit for the Renault 5 following the one designed for the 4L.
The 100% electric retrofit kits allow enthusiasts to drive their classic vehicle combining driving pleasure, savings, and reliability. Once converted, the operating and maintenance costs are reduced. The vehicle holds homologation and registration certificates allowing it to be driven anywhere, including low-emission zones (ZFE-m).
The 100% electric retrofit kit for the Renault 5 is approved for R5 TL or GTL, 3 or 5 doors (types 139700 and 122700).
Two retrofitted vehicles, Renault 4 (approved since February 2023) and Renault 5 (approved since September 2023), will be displayed at the Epoqu’Auto show at the The Originals Renault – La Collection booth, a living collection preserved, maintained, and operated by Renault. Visitors will be able to discover the offering and place orders at the R-FIT booth.
