The MINI Electric in John Cooper Works Edition

The new 3-door MINI is now available in the John Cooper Works trim, highlighting the brand’s sporty heritage.

With 218 hp (160 kW) and a maximum torque of 330 Newton-meters, the MINI Cooper SE is not a dragster but can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The 54.2 kWh battery provides an estimated range of up to 402 kilometers in WLTP testing cycle. But a MINI is also—and perhaps above all—a big go-kart for the road, a tool for fun, a machine that makes you smile. To give your MINI a particularly sporty look, it can today be ordered in the John Cooper Works trim. This version emphasizes the brand’s sporty roots, achieved through numerous racing successes, including three victories at the Monte Carlo Rally in the 1960s.

The MINI Cooper SE in JCW trim features 18-inch wheels with Lap Spoke 2-tone design with ten spokes and red JCW brake calipers. A hallmark of any true sporty car, the hood stripes highlight its athletic character.

Standard features for the MINI Cooper SE JCW include a front spoiler and a generous rear wing. The grille and logo are finished in glossy black. Visual highlights include the contrasting roof and flame-red side mirror caps.

The MINI LED headlights feature individual light signatures. With the JCW signature design, the front lights only display two horizontal daytime running light bands. The matrix rear light graphics emphasize the width of the rear of the vehicle.

The JCW seats combine the now-common vegan leather with red stitching and multicolored shoulder upholstery. The black and red color scheme is also reflected on the door panels and dashboard, the passenger side adorned with a JCW-specific pattern in a checkered flag style.

The high-resolution central OLED display, measuring 240 mm in diameter, consolidates vehicle data and provides information on navigation, media, phone, and climate controls. With MINI experience modes, it offers new personalization options. Among them is the GO-KART mode inspired by John Cooper Works, which colors the screen and interior lighting in anthracite red. The accelerator pedal response in this mode enhances the sporty driving experience.

Fast charging via DC current supports up to 95 kW. This means the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just under 30 minutes at a fast charging station.
