The 2024 Skoda Enyaq gains even more range

The Skoda SUV, the Enyaq, has been continuously evolving since its launch. In 2024, it will receive a new wave of welcome improvements.

estetically, only members of the Skoda Enyaq fan club will notice the 2024 updates. In reality, the large Czech SUV has always benefited from a very attractive design, both serious and dynamic.

The interest is discreet, with technological developments that enhance power, range, and charging speed. Skoda continues its efforts because its Enyaq sells quite well: 55,000 units in the first nine months of 2023, a 47% increase compared to the same period in 2022.

Specifically, the 80 and 80X variants are discontinued in favor of the 85 and 85X versions. The first offers an increased power of 60 kW (+82 hp) to 210 kW (285 hp), while the second, all-wheel drive version, gains 15 kW (+20 hp) compared to the 80X. Nothing to scoff at in terms of performance.

As for the RS version, it also gains 30 kW (+41 hp) to reach 250 kW (340 hp).

Thanks to improved thermal management of the battery, the Enyaq 85 would be able to cover 570 km in WLTP mixed cycle, probably around 400 km in real-world conditions. A strong performance again considering the size. The battery now has a capacity of 82 kWh (77 kWh net), and all-wheel drive versions can recharge up to 175 kW, the same as a Tesla Model Y.

During the 10 to 80% charging exercise, the Enyaq is 8 minutes faster, being 22% quicker with a charging time of 28 minutes. Rear-wheel drive models only have a charging power of 135 kW…

Inside, the digital interface and multimedia system evolve for greater modernization and fluidity.

Conversely, the entry-level model, the Enyaq 60, does not currently undergo any changes.

On the price side, Skoda France immediately offers these 85 versions for sale with an offer below the symbolic €47,000 threshold to benefit from the eco bonus (until December 15). That’s a manufacturer’s discount of €9,725 or €14,725 with the bonus. Therefore, the Skoda Enyaq 85 is offered at €41,990. As a reminder, options are now excluded from the bonus calculation, so feel free to customize your model as you wish.
