Fiat also has a large pick-up truck

Pick-Ups do not run through our countryside and even less through our streets, but it is a very different story in the rest of the world.

As part of a global product offensive, Fiat unveils its latest novelty, the Fiat Titano pick-up. While its name is inspired by figures from Greek mythology that preceded the gods of Olympus, the design line closely resembles that of the Peugeot Landtrek pick-up, which itself is derived from the Chinese Changan Hunter. We are therefore looking at a reinterpretation of a reinterpretation with strong familial connotations. But if you don’t know the Peugeot or Changan models, don’t worry. These two models are not intended for the French market at all. Like its cousins from the Stellantis Group, the Titano will be reserved for emerging markets, specifically the Brazilian and Algerian markets for the Fiat.

In the Brazilian market, where the brand has been in the lead since the beginning of the year, the Fiat Titano will join the family of pick-ups Strada and Toro. Designed to easily handle rough terrain, this pick-up aims to be a daily companion, with a purpose to meet all professional needs, including those of the agricultural sector. In Algeria, the Fiat Titano pick-up takes a different approach and emphasizes low fuel consumption.

The exterior of the Fiat Titano features a robust profile, a guarantee of solidity. The rear of the vehicle bears the name “Titano”. It remains to be seen if this utility vehicle will live up to the prestige of the children of Gaia and Ouranos.
