Everrati has unveiled its most extreme creation to date by integrating an electric motor into a Porsche Type 964 RSR.
The new zero-emission homage from Everrati to Porsche channels the philosophy of the Type 964 RSR 3.8 by combining the fabulous technical foundation of the car, directly inspired by motorsport, with carbon fiber body components for a drastic weight reduction. The heart of the beast is a high-tech, custom-made electric powertrain.
Launched in 1993, the RSR 3.8 is one of the rarest variants of the 964, with only 51 units produced. Combining a lightweight chassis, rear-wheel drive, and a wide “Turbo” body, it has become a legend within the automotive community. At the time, it revived the famous Porsche Motorsport badge first appearing on the 911 Carrera RSR of 1973 and which has since been featured on the 996, 997, and 991 competition models.
Of course, Everrati did not modify any RSR to develop this model. The base is a standard 964, with rear seats removed and a complete RSR body kit fitted.
Under the skin, there is a 63 kWh OEM-quality battery and an optimized management system. This Gen2 version introduces multiple advancements over Everrati’s Gen1 system, with improved cooling and a more refined version of its inverter controller and software, enhancing performance and efficiency. Equipped with high-performance electric motors delivering power to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential, the RSR-inspired version offers an emissions-free range of over 200 miles and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.7 seconds.
