The electric Renault Scenic starting at €40,050 in Italy

Still unavailable for order in France, the new Renault Scenic is available in several European markets, including the Italy.

At Mobiwisy, we have our own theory as to why the Renault Scenic still isn’t available for order in France. The reason lies in a specific European regulation: that of the Car of the Year.

To be eligible, a car must already be marketed in at least 5 of the 22 European markets before December 31. With the United Kingdom, the Belgium, and now Italy, the quota will soon be filled.

€40,050 in Italy

In Italy, two powertrain options are already available: Evolution trim 170 hp and Techno Long Range 220 horsepower. Starting at, respectively, €40,050 and €47,200. The Esprit Alpine and Iconic trims are not yet available.

As in France, the ecological bonus is €5,000, which means a starting price of €35,050. Very competitive!

Charging capacity: 130 kW for the “standard” 60 kWh battery range and 150 kW for the “Long Range” version. However, the onboard charger is disappointing: 7 kW.

Regarding standard colors, Passion Red is included as standard.

In conclusion, it’s worth noting that the new Renault Scenic appears to be very aggressive on pricing. We already saw this trend in the UK and Belgium prices. Looking forward to its launch in France… once it secures the 2024 Car of the Year title?
