MissionH24 Stops in Birmingham

This is the start for 2024, and MissionH24 is already beginning its particularly rich program for this year.

MissionH24 has laid the foundations for a new vision of auto racing. Hydrogen Cell, electric motor, tanks, battery, tires, aerodynamics, chassis… all designed for optimal Zero-emission performance. A pioneering industrial challenge.

On the occasion of the Birmingham International Show, a must-attend event in motorsport, at the National Exhibition Centre, MissionH24 is presenting hydrogen in competition. This pioneering program, a collaboration between the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and H24Project, contributes to creating a dedicated hydrogen prototype category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The H24, which will be displayed there, is the first hydrogen electric prototype to have competed in endurance racing, in Michelin Le Mans Cup, and to have finished all its races against a field of traditional internal combustion engine machines.

The H24 will demonstrate the Endurance strategy, committed to decarbonizing racing through hydrogen. Created in 1923, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is a crucial technological laboratory. Today, research aims for zero-emission competition. Hydrogen shows definite potential, as explained by Bassel Aslan, MissionH24’s technical director, during a public presentation on Sunday.

He will also be able to explain the progress on the H24EVO, a completely new machine that will undertake its first runs in 2025.
