Pininfarina Imagines a Revolutionary Campervan

With its foldable architecture, the future camper van designed by Pininfarina will achieve the feat of being compact and highly habitable.

The RV business is booming. The awakening to ecological consciousness means that younger generations want to fly less and connect more with their environment.

Nonetheless, moving a house on wheels isn’t exactly a virtue by itself. Therefore, ideas are multiplying to improve this footprint with more compact electric vehicles. But smaller doesn’t necessarily mean less livable.

Pininfarina has developed a concept expected to enter production in 2025 for AC Future. Named eTH, for Electric Transformer House, this product aims to harmoniously combine luxury equipment, smart technology, and environmentally friendly features to meet future mobility requirements.

With a Starlink satellite connection, the network developed by Space X, there will always be internet connectivity, even in the middle of a desert.

With its movable walls, the ground area can reach up to 37 square meters, while solar panels can produce up to 25 kWh of energy stored in batteries. Additionally, the atmospheric water generator system in eTH converts humidity from the air, providing up to 50 liters of clean ambient water per day. Ideal for living almost autonomously for 7 days.

No other technical or pricing details have been disclosed, but the concept is truly very appealing.
