The MG Cyberster Launches Limited Edition Red Top Edition

The launch of the very sexy MG Cyberster has begun in China, where a limited full option edition is making an appearance.

The revival of MG (for Morris Garage) is taking shape more and more each day. And it involves a well-thought-out story: there are certainly large-volume, affordable cars, but also dream cars. Yes, some will grumble, saying that roadster + electric are two incompatible concepts, but today we need to look beyond. Electric will become the standard in the coming years, whether we like it or not.

MG has therefore started marketing its adorable roadster Cyberster in China, before arriving in Europe in 2024. With its gull-wing doors, elegant proportions with a long nose, and a welcoming interior, this electric cabriolet has some serious arguments to show.

Soon in France?

With a price ranging from 41,500 to 46,700 euros in local currency, the Cyberster adds a limited series version of only 100 units called the Red Top Edition. As the name indicates, it features a red soft-top and a stunning pearl crème paint job. Its selling price rises to about 47,500 euros. Inside, the upholstery is also red.

As a reminder, in its most powerful version, the Cyberster benefits from all-wheel drive and two motors. 150 kW at the front and 250 kW at the rear, totaling 544 horsepower, with the wind in its hair.

It can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and travel up to 520 km with its 77 kWh battery. This range will be slightly less in Europe due to different testing methods with more road use, but approximately 450 km can be expected.

In France, the price of the Cyberster is expected to be around 60,000 euros.
