Under 20,000 euros, the Dacia Spring and Duster are playing hardball

Dacia highlights its new versions of its two flagship models, the Duster SUV and the Spring electric, at the Geneva Motor Show.

Still the Duster spirit?

The new Duster SUV will make its official debut at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show at the Dacia stand. Born in 2010 and renewed once in 2017, the Duster has established itself by breaking traditional SUV market norms. The Duster is a true success story, with more than 2.2 million units produced.

This third generation of the Duster, developed on the CMF-B platform, will reveal a more robust and assertive design, as well as a range of engines: GPL ECO G100, HYBRID 140, and the 48V mild-hybrid TCe 130, available with 4×2 and 4×4 transmissions to best suit customer needs. Starting at less than 20,000 euros, this new Duster remains the family SUV offering the best value for money in its category.

Is the lighting sufficient for the Spring?

The new Spring features a completely new exterior and interior design. Spring is the only electric vehicle in Europe weighing less than a ton. Despite its compact size, it offers excellent cargo capacity and many clever features.

With its customizable 7-inch digital dashboard and 10-inch multimedia touchscreen, Spring is even more digital. For greater versatility, the new Spring offers a 45 hp motor on Essential and Expression trims, and a 65 hp motor on Expression and Extreme trims.

Remaining to be seen are the prices for this new Spring, which is expected to remain the electric car offering the best value for money in the European market.
