Promo: Against the Dacia Spring, the Citroën C3 drops to €89/month

At the end of its life and pushed out by the Ë-C3, initially available as an electric then as an internal combustion engine, the C3 is making one last farewell tour.

Although the purchase price of a Citroën C3 at dealerships remains above 16,000 euros, some sellers accept discounts below 15,000 euros. Nevertheless, the Long-Term Rental offer proposed by Citroën until March 31, 2024, deserves consideration.

What is the value of this offer showing €89 / MONTH at a glance?

It obviously concerns the entry-level Citroën C3 in the YOU trim with the 83-horsepower PureTech engine and no options. The car is only available for stock vehicles.

The duration is 48 months with 47 payments of 89 euros… but an initial payment of 3,500 euros. This is quite high, but it aims to “capture” the customer. This offer includes assistance and extended warranty coverage for the 4 years of the lease. As for mileage, it is limited to 40,000 kilometers, or 10,000 per year.

Valid until March 31, 2024, is this long-term lease worth it? Over the course of the lease, you will pay 7,683 euros, which is half the vehicle’s value. We’ve seen better deals. A traditional loan, spread over a long period and without a large initial payment, seems like a much better option.

Regarding the Dacia Spring, also listed at the same monthly rate, it currently requires an initial payment of 5,200 euros following the removal of an ecological bonus. But in everyday use, it no longer needs very expensive fuel.
