MINI Aceman

The MINI Aceman 100% electric will have its world premiere at the 18th Beijing International Motor Show 2024.

The Aceman will complement the electric versions of the classic MINI, renamed Cooper, and the Countryman. Unlike these two models, it will be devoid of internal combustion or hybrid engines. This will be the first time that MINI offers only electric vehicles in one of its cars. It aligns with the brand’s new strategy, which will present the new generation of the “New MINI Family” at the China International Exhibition Center during the 18th Beijing International Motor Show 2024, from April 25 to May 4.

The first photos show a heavily camouflaged car, which seems to be in line with current MINI models. In terms of size, the new Aceman will lose a few centimeters compared to the Countryman, reaching about 4 meters in length. It will fall into the city SUV segment and will challenge, for example, the Jeep Avenger.

The Aceman will be built on a new platform developed by BMW and Chinese Great Wall Motors. The powertrain offerings are expected to mirror those of the city car. There may be an E version with about 180 hp coexisting with an Aceman SE at 215 hp. A more sporty John Cooper Works variant could be introduced later. The most affordable Aceman versions will feature a 40 kWh battery. A second 54 kWh battery will also be available, potentially providing nearly 400 km of range.
