The Alpine A110 also tries out lease-to-own!

Not easy to find new clients with an entry ticket of 65,000 euros. So Alpine is launching a Long-Term Lease at €599/month.

Innovation is not reserved for Formula 1. No, Alpine is also innovating with the concept of Long-Term Lease (LTL), which we could also call STL, for Short-Term Lease.

Indeed, the advertised commercial promise is attractive: driving an Alpine A110 “Original Spirit” for €599 per month. But what is the reality?

In fact, it is a lease of only 25 months broken down as follows: an initial payment of €5,000 + 24 payments of €598.47. For a total of €19,363.28. To remind, the catalog price of this Alpine A110 Original Spirit is €65,000. That’s about 30% of the amount to be paid for just two years and one month of leasing. Not cheap.

The mileage is within the standard practice, with a maximum of 20,000 kilometers. Remember that at the end of the contract, you must return the vehicle without the option to buy (unless you make arrangements with the dealer) and additional costs for restoration and extra kilometers will be charged.

So, is it good or not?

To be completely clear, it should be noted that with 153 g of CO2 emitted per kilometer (which is an excellent score thanks to the low weight of 1102 kg and the small 4-cylinder turbo engine of 252 horsepower), purchasing an Alpine A110 incurs a 2024 Eco Tax of €2726. This penalty does not apply when signing an LTL since the car does not belong to you.

Alpine does not specify anywhere which services are included in this LTL, starting with maintenance, which is normally included in such contracts.

Ultimately, we tend to think that this offer, rare for this type of vehicle, is welcome. It allows, without immobilizing money (apart from the initial €5000), to enjoy yourself as long as it is still possible. The question of resale in 2026 will then not arise, especially as the automotive landscape will have changed again… and Alpine will have new models to offer you by then .
