New CUPRA Leon, the mischievous Spanish bourgeois
This page is translated from the original post "Nouvelle CUPRA Leon, la bourgeoise canaille hispanique" in French.

The new CUPRA Leon adopts the brand’s new design language and a unique hybrid powertrain.
The new CUPRA Leon exhibits a strong character in both its 5-door and Sportstourer versions, as the brand takes a new step by diversifying its range to move beyond being just “all sporty”.

As if to better kill the SEAT mother, the CUPRA logo proudly takes its place on the hood of the Leon, the central focus of the shark nose that defines the aggressive look with its triangular LED lighting signature. At the rear, the same triangular lighting signature frames the centrally illuminated CUPRA logo. To strengthen the brand’s identity, new matte colors are also available, such as Century Bronze Matte or Enceladus Gray Matte. These matte shades are expected to become CUPRA’s signature.

The range of powertrains includes four different technologies: TSI (gasoline), mild hybrid (eTSI Hybrid), TDI (diesel), and eHybrid (plug-in hybrid). Additionally, the new generation of plug-in hybrid offers a power of 272 horsepower (200 kW), while providing over 100 km of autonomy in all-electric mode. Moreover, it is now compatible with fast charging, with a power of up to 50 kW on DC stations.
The interior of the Leon combines sportiness and sustainability thanks to various digital technologies and a wide choice of materials. The bucket seats, for example, are upholstered with 73% recycled microfiber or environmentally friendly leather. Located behind the steering wheel, the Digital Cockpit benefits from a new human-machine interface that has been improved, as has the 12.9-inch infotainment system, now equipped with a backlit cursor. To set the pace through sharp turns, the Leon is fitted with a brand-new Hi-Fi audio system with 12 speakers delivering 390 watts.
