Jeep Introduces Its 600-Horsepower Fully Electric SUV

Jeep has officially unveiled the Wagoneer S, its new 100% electric SUV, and it looks quite exciting!

Jeep continues its electric transition by revealing the vehicle everyone has been eagerly awaiting. The Jeep Wagoneer S, a fully electric premium model, will initially be sold in the United States and Canada in the second half of 2024, before going very quickly to the rest of the world.

This sporty 4WD SUV is based on Stellantis’s STLA Large platform, designed from the outset for electric vehicles. Its sleek lines feature a roofline with a front spoiler. Design-wise, it simultaneously enhances the overall aesthetic while serving a true aerodynamic purpose. The roof and rear hatch spoiler are sloped to minimize aerodynamic drag. Flush door handles, rear fenders, and integrated spoilers help guide airflow, combined with a system embedded beneath the chassis. Tri-dimensional-shaped front wheel spoilers and an advanced side skirt design smoothly direct air around the wheels and toward the rear of the vehicle to reduce drag to a minimum. All these elements contribute to a very impressive Cx of 0.29 despite its muscular bodybuilder appearance.

The interior integrates the best of technology with a digital interface totaling 45 inches. An incredible array of screens covers the entire width of the dashboard, similar to what Porsche introduced on the Taycan and recently on the new Macan.

Offered exclusively as a 100% electric vehicle, the Jeep Wagoneer S features a standard all-wheel-drive system with off-road management. Performance is impressive, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 3.4 seconds thanks to 600 horsepower and an instant torque of over 800 Nm. To maximize range up to 480 km, the Jeep Wagoneer S is equipped with a 400-volt, 100 kWh battery. It allows charging from 20% to 80% in 23 minutes using a DC fast charger.

Designed for aerodynamic efficiency, its sleek, unique exterior design is marked by a very original reinterpretation of the Jeep seven-slot grille, illuminated by LEDs. Love it or not, it certainly doesn’t leave anyone indifferent!
