The Schedule for the 2024 Australian F1 Grand Prix

Discover the schedule for the Australian Grand Prix, the third round of the 2024 Formula 1 season from March 22 to March 24.

If you love Formula 1, you’ll need to wake up early this Sunday to support your favorite driver on the semi-urban track of Albert Park in Melbourne. Unlike previous editions, the start of the Sunday race will not be given at 7:00 AM French time but at 5:00 AM.

Introduced to the Formula 1 calendar in 1996, the Albert Park circuit traditionally hosted the opening round of the championship, a tradition that has been lost in recent years with the emergence of circuits in the Middle East (Bahrain, Saudi Arabia…).

This year marks the 37th edition of the Australian GP, the 27th to take place in Melbourne. The Albert Park layout was significantly modified in 2022, including the removal of a corner between turns 8 and 9 to create a longer “straight.” A unique feature is that the circuit includes no less than four DRS zones!
