What’s rare is expensive. But what’s unique in the world has no price (sentimental). So, when a mythical car that belonged to a Formula 1 legend, who passed away on May 1, 1994, appears on the auction market, the purchase ticket can reach astronomical heights.

No need to prolong the mystery any longer: the Honda NSX presented here was owned by the great Ayrton Senna when he was a driver for McLaren in 1991. The three-time world champion from Brazil even actively participated in its development with Honda engineers in Japan.

Its owner since 2013, as the 30th anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s passing at the Italian circuit of Imola approaches, smells a good commercial opportunity and has decided to part with it. The reserve price is £500,000, or at least €580,000. Senna used this Honda NSX during his stays at his property in Portugal. It also appeared in the film Racing is in my blood released in 1992 with that famous scene where he washes his red NSX by hand.

A fan of the NSX, Senna owned two other black examples in Brazil. The car currently for sale shows 63,000 kilometers on the odometer.
