While the automotive market shows a slight decline of 2.9% in May, electric car sales continue to thrive, as evidenced by the small Twingo breaking records. How is this possible for a car that will soon be 4 years old? Overall, despite recent restrictions on the allocation of the ecological bonus, electric drivetrains continue to progress in a dynamic context of energy transition: +5% over the past month, with a market share now reaching 17% in France.

While the Peugeot E-208 takes the lion’s share of the 100% electric BEV market with 2,662 units registered, the big surprise in the Top 3 is, of course, the Twingo’s presence in second place with 1,688 registrations ahead of the Megane E-Tech! Has the new Twingo come out without us noticing?
