€17,000 discount on Ford Mustang Mach-E!

Ford is launching a major summer promotion on its fully electric Mustang Mach-E in stock.

While browsing through Ford’s stock vehicle inventory, we found a specimen of the Mustang that normally wouldn’t catch our eye. Perhaps only to reiterate that Ford is really messing up with the price of its SUV… This is a 2023 Mustang Mach-E Premium Extended Range RWD. Whether it’s a 2022, 2023, or 2024 model isn’t a problem at all since the model hasn’t undergone any significant facelift or improvements during this period.

The most interesting aspect is undoubtedly the large battery range that offers more than 600 km of autonomy. It’s a good thing because with a consumption of 17.3 kWh/100 km in the WLTP cycle, this Mach-E is definitely more Mustang than camel.

The Compromise Mustang

Nothing crazy under the hood but it’s still quite nice with a power of 294 hp (216 kW) delivered to the rear wheels only. The electric Mustang in this version is certainly the closest to its thermal ancestor. No, you will never find the same pleasure behind the wheel of a 4.7-meter-long electric SUV weighing 2.6 tons compared to a Pony Car with a V8 engine that is twice as light and 1,000 times louder. But you can still enjoy driving and even play a bit with the rear end. Unless you can afford the Rally version, we have a strong preference for this lighter Propulsion version that still goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds. The best compromise.

The heart of this car is the Plus Technology Pack, usually reserved for all-wheel-drive versions, which includes a B&O audio system with 10 speakers and an integrated soundbar in the dashboard, hands-free liftgate, and front seats with 8-way power adjustments and memory.

Displayed at a catalog price of 69,790 euros, our Mustang Mach-E drops to 52,790 euros after applying the Ford discount. This still remains very expensive as the comparison with the Tesla Model 3 and Y always hurts Ford, but for an unconventional ride, it’s perfect!
