The Pininfarina of Batman
Automobili Pininfarina has created a fully electric and bespoke collection inspired by the universe of Bruce Wayne and his alias Batman.
As a visionary entrepreneur passionate about innovation and sustainable technology, Bruce Wayne inevitably crossed paths with the Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina. But every piece has two sides, and behind the flamboyant playboy lies the Dark Knight, Gotham City’s vigilante, Batman.
This duality between Bruce Wayne and Batman has inspired four new very exclusive versions of the B95 hyper Barchetta and the Battista hyper GT. Each car is available in two unique specifications, named “Gotham” and “Dark Knight.”

The four cars are powered by a high-capacity 120 kWh lithium-ion battery and four motors to generate 1,900 hp. This is enough to propel each purely electric model from 0 to 100 km/h in under two seconds. All four vehicles feature an IHM Wayne Enterprises display, with a voice assistant inspired by Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler and assistant, Alfred Pennyworth. The Battista models also offer entirely new performance enhancement specifications, including shark fins and air vents in the front and rear carbon fiber wings to improve overall aerodynamic efficiency toward the rear airbrake. The exterior is completed with Wayne Enterprises logos on the side skirts and roof, and all models feature a unique aluminum chassis and door plate inspired by Bruce Wayne.

The Gotham design is meant to reflect Bruce Wayne’s soft and civil sophistication. Both the B95 and Battista models are draped in a distinctive beige leather that includes custom quilting on the center panels, along with beige stitching. The bodies are dressed in a stunning shiny Argento Vittorio paint with touches of Nero Torino.

In contrast, the Dark Knight design reflects Bruce Wayne’s use of technology to maintain an edge in his fight against Gotham City’s criminal underworld. These vehicles feature black-on-black Alcantara leather upholstery, with unique contrasting black and gold double stitching. The body is finished in Nero Profondo and Nero Torino ‘Goccia’.
