Launched in France two years ago, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is certainly a landmark model in the electric world.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is a love-it-or-hate-it proposition, primarily because of its unique aesthetic. The lines of this 5-door coupe are reminiscent of a certain Porsche Taycan. We’ve seen less flattering comparisons! At 4.86 meters long and 1.88 meters wide, the Korean model sits between a Tesla Model 3 (4.70 m) and a Porsche Taycan (4.96 m). The cabin has received special attention, with a warm yet techy atmosphere and, above all, impeccable build quality. Despite the pronounced slope of the roof, rear passengers enjoy generous space, and the lack of a transmission tunnel allows for a fifth passenger to sit comfortably. A Hyundai to drive differently

Technically, the Ioniq 6 can hold its own against newer creations, especially in the H-Trac all-wheel-drive version that offers 325 hp. This model can travel up to 614 km on the WLTP cycle thanks to its long-range 77.4 kWh battery, and Hyundai has crafted a bespoke First Edition trim that interests us today. Available in four colors, this high-end version features specific leather/fabric upholstery with a tartan pattern and customized floor mats. Externally, it is distinguished by 20-inch matte black wheels, specific bumpers and side skirts, as well as glossy black exterior mirrors.

Among the standard equipment, there are two 12.3-inch screens, induction charging, a Bose audio system, a head-up display, Level 2 autonomous driving, a 360° camera, hands-free trunk opening, an alarm… Naturally, all this comes at a price because it is listed in the catalog at 62,500 euros. That’s quite a lot, even too much, but we have found an example offered with a 23% discount, which is a reduction of 14,710 euros! At 47,990 euros, in its beautiful Biophilic Blue pearl finish, it is undoubtedly a great and good deal.
