MissionH24 and Toyota united around hydrogen

MissionH24 participates with Toyota in an event where all the futures of mobility, including hydrogen, are highlighted.

For several weeks, Toyota has set up a special arrangement consisting of several circuits to which we have been invited, and which we will present to you soon. An area dedicated to all the mobilities of tomorrow where the Japanese manufacturer has deployed numerous vehicles demonstrating the work done for more responsible mobility.

The H24EVO, the latest production from MissionH24, is on display during this event in an area dedicated to hydrogen. It draws a bridge between virtuous mobility and competition, perfectly symbolizing the collaborative work done by manufacturers and organizers for a more virtuous sport. A pillar of the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Toyota is working towards the energy transition needed for environmental protection, a common goal with MissionH24. Through motorsport, particularly at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and during each round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the manufacturer and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) participate in the search for new, more virtuous technologies in the automotive world. Initiated by Pierre Fillon, President of the ACO, H24Project, aimed at the competitive engagement of hydrogen prototypes, illustrates this effort.

Hydrogen, a cornerstone of the ACO’s strategy to decarbonize racing, is a theme that the Japanese manufacturer has been developing for several years. On the road, Toyota Mirai are already moving through the streets in France. In competition, in 2023, during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing presented the GR H2 Racing Concept, a hydrogen prototype that could join the Hydrogen category in Endurance, while the GR Corolla H2 Concept, regularly driven by Toyota President Akio Toyoda, focuses research on the use of liquid hydrogen.
