“Public’s Choice,” the Bugatti Tourbillon has won the hearts of visitors at Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille 2024.
Since the first edition of the elegance contest, Bugatti has been inextricably linked to the spirit of Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille. A showcase of the French art of living, the contest wonderfully celebrated classic and modern automobiles with over 800 exceptional vehicles and a record attendance of 28,000 visitors. Inspired by haute couture, refinement, and tradition, this elegance contest was the ideal venue for the first public appearance in France of Bugatti’s latest creation.

Many Bugatti models were present at this 2024 edition to support the new hypercar during this debutante ball. A Type 43 and a Type 44 were displayed and competed in the class “Unrestored Cars – Pre-War”.

Alongside them, five examples of the legendary Type 35, now a century old, shone at the Concours d’État in the category “100 Years of Bugatti 35,” paying tribute not only to its sporting career but also to Peter Mullin, a dear friend of Bugatti, whose wife, Merle Mullin, presented an award to the owner of the winning car, a 1928 Type 35 C.

These legends were also accompanied by their modern successor, the Bolide 100th Anniversary Edition, the only modern Bugatti reserved for the track. A tribute to the brand’s rich sporting history and the unparalleled success of the Type 35.
