BYD launches its Atto 3 SUV for less than 30,000 euros!

It’s a month of great promotions at the Chinese manufacturer BYD. But at such a level, this is unprecedented.

One might reasonably think that BYD is making absolutely no effort to sell its cars in France. As if being present on French soil was enough for them. There have been a few advertisements during the football Euro, of which the manufacturer was a partner, but the communication remains timid, hesitant, as if BYD was ashamed to offer excellent quality cars. At some point, they need to embrace the fact that they are the world’s leading manufacturer of electrified vehicles and get a bit more aggressive!

So the simplest way to get known is still to offer significant discounts. But BYD does it so timidly that you really have to want to know about it. Therefore, benefiting from a huge discount of 8,000 euros, the BYD Atto 3 is offered until September 30, 2024, starting at 29,990 euros! There’s even a Long-Term Rental (LLD) offer for 49 months and 40,000 km with a tiny first payment of only 1,500 euros, followed by 48 monthly payments of 299 euros. But why not shout it from the rooftops? We’re talking about a car that was launched 2 years ago at 43,690 euros.

BYD deserves to be known

For less than 30,000 euros, you don’t get a cheap car because the BYD Atto 3 is equipped with a 60 kWh fast-charging battery at 80 kW, which guarantees a range of 420 km in mixed WLTP cycle. The electric motor delivers a power of 150 kW, or about 204 hp. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 160 km/h. It comes standard with 19-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, full LED headlights, faux leather upholstery, and electrically adjustable heated front seats.

A large rotatable central screen offers a cutting-edge infotainment system with wireless Apple and Android connectivity, an internet browser, and… Karaoke. Induction charger, 360-degree camera, and all the ADAS features you could dream of disconnecting are included. Objectively, it lacks nothing.

However, there is always a fear of a Fisker scenario, with a manufacturer pulling out of the market and leaving you alone and helpless without service for your car. Rest assured, there is absolutely no risk because BYD is in Europe to stay and dominate.
