92% of electric drivers no longer want traditional combustion engines!

According to a recent study, 92% of electric vehicle drivers do not plan to return to a combustion engine car.

The Global EV Drivers Alliance (GEVA) has just published the first genuine worldwide survey on the experience of electric vehicle users. GEVA is a global network of 64 national associations aiming to inspire and accelerate electric mobility around the world. Some might label them as biased and doubt the results of this study, but the conditions under which it was conducted provide full credibility. Based on over 23,000 responses from 18 countries, this survey represents the first large-scale global study of EV drivers. It shows that while the technology attracts, infrastructure still lags behind.

The main motivation driving people to switch to electric remains, of course, the lower operating costs, while environmental benefits come second. Despite significant progress, charging infrastructure remains a sticking point for some users. The most cited disadvantages are limited availability of fast chargers, charging time, and frequent station failures.

Still Think Electric Means Trouble?
