A Tesla Cybertruck explodes in front of Trump Hotel!

A Cybertruck filled with fuel and fireworks exploded in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.

The police are investigating the explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck loaded with fuel cans and firework mortars in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. The driver was killed and seven people were lightly injured, according to authorities.

The vehicle, rented in Colorado, arrived in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning, less than two hours before the explosion. Parked near a glass entrance of the hotel, it began to smoke before exploding at 8:40 a.m. local time. Videos show a spectacular explosion, with multicolored fireworks scattering in all directions.

During a press conference, Sheriff Kevin McMahill presented images of debris, including fuel cans and a dozen mortars. He specified that the vehicle was rented via Turo, a car rental platform, similar to the truck involved in a car-ramming attack in New Orleans on the same day, which resulted in 15 deaths. The police are examining whether the two incidents are connected.

President Joe Biden stated he is monitoring investigations into both attacks, mentioning a possible connection. The identity of the driver remains to be confirmed, but investigators have found no direct link to ISIS.

Eric Trump, son of President-elect Donald Trump, posted a message expressing gratitude to the rescue teams while assuring the safety of hotel guests, who have been evacuated. The Trump Tower, which has 64 floors, is partially owned by the family business.

The incident comes shortly after Donald Trump appointed Elon Musk to co-chair a presidential commission. This association, combined with the use of a Cybertruck, raises many questions for authorities.
