BMW Motorrad set a new sales record in 2024, with 210,408 motorcycles sold, marking the best performance in its history. Germany remains the company’s main market, followed by regions in Europe, the United States, Asia, and Latin America.
This success is explained by a diversified product portfolio and the introduction of popular new models. Among them are the BMW M 1000 XR and S 1000 XR, mid-range trail bikes F 800 GS, F 900 GS, and F 900 GS Adventure, as well as Heritage models R 12 and R 12 NineT. The flagship models, R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure, equipped with the iconic Boxer engine, also contributed to this achievement.
Europe was the most dynamic region with 118,727 motorcycles sold. In Germany, sales increased by over 8%, reaching 26,177 units. France (20,693 units), Italy (16,617 units), and Spain (13,009 units) complete this ranking, while Central Europe saw a 12% growth with 11,411 units.
Outside Europe, markets such as the United States (17,272 units), Brazil (15,267 units), China (13,872 units), and India (8,301 units) also posted solid performances.
Boxer models, including the R 1300 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure, attracted over 68,000 customers worldwide. The S 1000 RR confirmed its leadership among super-sport bikes with 11,610 sales.
The recently revamped F series models totaled 40,890 units, while small-displacement G 310 GS, G 310 R, and G 310 RR reached 22,339 sales. Lastly, urban mobility solutions such as the electric CE 04 and CE 02 exceeded 20,000 units sold in 2024.
