Don’t Make the Mistake of Buying a Black Tesla Model Y Launch Series!

Do you want to be one of the first French people to drive the new generation Tesla Model Y at all costs? Then just a little tip.

Tesla has officially launched the new version of the Model Y in France. A particularity, the manufacturer offers both the old and the new version of its successful electric SUV for order, a never-before-seen approach for the brand.

So Tesla allows you to order this updated version, but beware, only in an extremely expensive variant! Tesla has simply launched a special series called the “Launch Series” which is a Long Range Fully Loaded version of the new generation with the Boost that’s useless and some cosmetic goodies.

The new version offers an estimated range of 568 km in WLTP cycle, slightly more than the 533 km of the previous generation equipped with 20-inch wheels like the “Launch Series.” But of course, the real sting is in the price, jumping from 51,990 euros to 60,990 euros! For an additional 9,000 euros, you get a better, more modern car, but admit it, that’s quite a price for a crush.

Tesla gives some strange gifts

To be thorough, it should be noted that this model includes the 20-inch wheels usually optional at 2,100 euros and the Boost, which is charged after purchase at 1,800 euros. Tesla also offers two colors of choice, solid black or Quicksilver Gray. Besides the fact that this latter color is much more modern and less dull, a compelling argument is that you should choose it. It costs 2,600 euros as an option, compared to 1,300 euros for black!

According to the analysis, you save 1,300 euros if you opt for gray or get a gift twice as valuable if you choose black. But if you’re going to pay a lot for a special car, you might as well get your money’s worth.
