Kia has finally unveiled the highly anticipated EV2, its new vision for urban electric mobility, in the form of a very refined concept.

During its EV Day in Barcelona, Kia unveiled the EV2 Concept, a preview of its future compact 100% electric SUV aimed at the B segment. This model illustrates Kia’s commitment to innovate and provide practical and sophisticated vehicles suitable for an active urban lifestyle.

The Kia Concept EV2 stands out with a clean and dynamic look. At the front, its vertical daytime running lights (DRL) and the “Star Map” light signature without a glass cover create a strong visual identity. With its compact design, robust profile, and prominent bumpers, the EV2 projects a premium and bold appearance.

The profile combines a solid stance with a dynamic shoulder line, enhancing its technical character. The wide arches and the geometric details of the wheel arches and glass add a refined touch. Despite its small dimensions, the EV2 maintains a confident and sophisticated look, echoing a spirit of adventure.

A flexible and durable Kia

The interior of the EV2 focuses on sustainability and modularity. It offers configurable seats, eco-friendly materials, and a unique ambient lighting. The rear doors open in reverse, and the flat floor facilitates access and customization. The second-row seats fold down to maximize space, while the front seats can slide back to create a relaxing area.

Among its innovations, the EV2 integrates sliding luggage dividers, portable speakers, and connected technologies. A message display function on the windows allows users to communicate with the outside environment, reinforcing interaction with the urban surroundings.

The production version of the Kia EV2 is expected in 2026 on the European market and other regions. This model marks a decisive step in Kia’s ambition to make electric mobility accessible to everyone.
