BMW R 12 Julie Wood, Limited Edition for Motorcycle and Comic Book Fans

BMW offers an exclusive edition of its neo-retro motorcycle: the BMW R 12 Julie Wood. Inspired by the heroine created by Jean Graton.

This magnificent motorcycle is a vibrant tribute to Julie Wood and her exciting adventures. Initially the protagonist of her own series in eight volumes, she embodies a model of courage and determination. Later, she joins the Michel Vaillant universe, collaborating with the famous race car driver, adding a unique and complementary dimension to the Graton universe. Their encounter blends motorcycles and car racing, enriching the imagination of these legendary stories.

Julie Wood returns to the forefront with a new season, whose first album, Mortal Rodeo, was released on February 14, 2025. To accompany her in her new adventures, BMW Motorrad France has imagined a customized version of the R 12, reflecting her bold style.

A motorcycle worthy of Julie

With its 1,170 cc boxer engine delivering 95 horsepower and an irresistible neo-retro look, the BMW R 12 is part of the brand’s Heritage line. The Julie Wood edition, limited to only 15 numbered units, stands out with silver glitter paint accented with red and blue stripes reminiscent of the heroine’s iconic helmet. The “W” logo and Julie’s signature add a subtle but recognizable touch to the design.

This special edition is equipped with a PRO finish (antitheft alarm, Pro high-beam lights, tire pressure sensor), a passenger kit, 19’’ spoked wheels at the front and 16’’ at the rear, and a stylish exhaust system. All of this is offered at 21,400 euros through the BMW Motorrad France network. This motorcycle is, of course, accompanied by an exclusive version of the album Mortal Rodeo. A lovely nod to keep Julie Wood’s magic alive for all enthusiasts.
