Finally, the electric Toyota we’ve been waiting for?

Toyota has unveiled the Toyota C-HR+, a 100% electric compact SUV designed to conquer the European market.

Combining elegance, performance, and practicality, this model continues the success of the Toyota C-HR, which has sold over one million units in Europe. Inspired by the Compact SUV concept presented in 2022, it features a distinctive design and unique characteristics.

The Toyota C-HR+ will be gradually launched across Europe starting in late 2025, with full commercialization in 2026. It will complement Toyota’s electric range alongside the bZ4X and Urban Cruiser models. Available in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions, it offers two battery options: 57.7 kWh and 77 kWh. The maximum range announced reaches 600 km (provisional data).

Built on Toyota’s dedicated electric vehicle platform e-TNGA, the C-HR+ stands out with a modern aesthetic. Its coupe-SUV silhouette combines aerodynamics and functionality. Inside, the spacious cabin offers 900 mm of space between the front and rear seats, as well as a 416-liter trunk volume. The refinement, ambient lighting, and features like wireless chargers and a panoramic roof enhance passenger comfort.

Performance and Efficiency

The model offers power outputs ranging from 167 hp (front-wheel drive with 57.7 kWh battery) to 343 hp (all-wheel drive). The Toyota C-HR+ is thus the most powerful vehicle Toyota offers in Europe, outside the GR sports range, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 5.2 seconds in the top-tier version.

Innovations include pre-conditioning the battery to optimize fast charging up to 150 kW, and a heat pump to improve energy efficiency.

The Toyota C-HR+ is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense, including driver assistance features such as parking assistance and a 360° camera. Its 14-inch multimedia screen includes navigation tailored for electric vehicles, while the MyToyota app simplifies vehicle management.

Finally, Toyota offers an extended warranty program on the battery, enhancing customer confidence in this new generation of electric vehicles.
