After sparking interest earlier this year with an initial reveal, ZEEKR, a subsidiary of Geely, officially launches its 7GT in China. This GT shooting brake model is both sporty, practical, and luxurious. Designed as a powerful and versatile electric alternative, the 7GT combines minimalist design with advanced technology. The first deliveries will begin as early as next week.

Built on the advanced SEA 800V architecture, this electric vehicle boasts impressive range. The standard version, equipped with a 75 kWh LFP battery, can travel up to 650 km according to the CLTC standard, approximately 550 km in the European WLTP standard, with ultra-fast charging from 10 to 80% in just 10.5 minutes. For long-distance travelers, a version with a 100 kWh NMC battery offers a record-breaking range of 825 km, far surpassing current standards.

An electric technology that is becoming more affordable

But that’s not all. Under its sleek body, the 7GT is equipped with two silicon carbide electric motors, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.95 seconds. Its generous dimensions and exceptional interior space enhance its versatility: it combines the sporty style of a coupe with the spaciousness of a high-end wagon. The interior exudes luxury with heated, ventilated, and massaging Nappa leather seats, while the infotainment system runs on the powerful Qualcomm 8295 chip.

In terms of safety and assisted driving, the 7GT is no exception. Equipped with lidars, high-definition cameras, and radars, it features the autonomous G-Pilot H7 system. A nice detail—its headlights can display personalized messages!

With so many technologies and performance capabilities, one might expect an astronomical price. Yet, ZEEKR breaks the mold with a launch price starting at 203,000 Yuan, roughly 25,000 euros. This price makes it as accessible as a Renault 5 Electric, which is limited to 120 horsepower and a 300 km range. Truly revolutionary, this car does everything—and much more.
